Apart from AQ, Brahm has held several finance-related positions in New York City, with primary focus on the hedge fund industry. He is currently a Senior Product Manager at SkyBridge Capital, an Investment Adviser based in Midtown Manhattan.

Mr. Lai is responsible for managing AQ accounting and financial matters, in addition to general business development. Mr. Lai strongly believes that the current funding model for higher education in the United States is fundamentally broken and has lost all accountability. He believes that a market approach is necessary that will keep funding costs in line with earning potential while making higher education learning institutions more accountable for the tuition they charge and degrees they confer.
Born in Toronto, Canada and educated in Boston, Mr. Lai now currently resides in San Francisco and works as a finance and tax consultant. Prior to his move to the west coast, Mr. Lai was a senior director at the New York City-based global consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal.
